Taipei Bach Festival

Taipei Bach Festival Master Class in Conducting provides a 9-day immersion in the craft of conducting, where participants interact with and learn directly from Maestro Helmuth Rilling, prepare and conduct performances of works by Bach, and meet colleagues from around the world. Those selected as conducting participants will lead the Taipei Philharmonic Chorus and Evergreen Symphony Orchestra (ESO) in rehearsals and performances. The auditors attend all sessions, and also join fully in discussion and seminars.

THE CONDUCTING MASTER CLASS IS FOR:

◎ Conductors of university, college, high school, church, community, and professional choirs.
◎ Orchestral conductors who want to expand the breadth of their technique.
◎ Masters and Doctoral level conducting students.
◎ Anyone, as a non-conducting auditor, who wishes to observe Helmuth Rilling’s conducting pedagogy and stylistic insight.
